I went to the Resort World Sentosa in March to take a look. I shot a few photos on my Olympus XA2 and didn’t manage to finish the roll of Fuji Velvia 100 film. The rest of the roll was taken at Serangoon when I went to collect and return my graduation gown. I walked around and found some interesting places at the shophouses. There were a few random shots taken at Clementi and Tampines.
1. Universal Studio! (It wasn’t open when I went there in March)
2. Gate of Universal Studio
3. Construction at Serangoon
4. Back lane of some shop houses
5. Table from a coffee shop. The colour of the film made the 36 look more bloody
6. Danger!
7 Recycle cardboard?
8. Nice weather at Clementi Stadium

I first heard about redscale film from Lomotion and saw the DIY instruction from Ndroo’s website. I was too lazy to DIY myself and I decide to buy a few rolls of the Lomo Redscale Negative films from someone in Lomotion last year. I decided to test the film on the Olympus Trip 35 camera LAST YEAR and I managed to finish the roll THIS YEAR. Hahahaha. I realised the colour of the photos are slightly different from those that I googled online. Mine turned out to be very “old looking” and not so reddish.

The idea of starting a iPhone related blog had been around my mind for some times, but I’m too lazy to think of another name or to setup a blog again. So I decided to add iPhone related stuffs here. Just for anyone information, I own a iPhone 3G. Nothing to shout about, since the latest version is iPhone 3GS (I’m waiting for the next version of iPhone!). I’m a big fan of jailbreaking my iPhone (There soooo much benefits).
To continue from the last post, I will start off with reviewing AutoStitch. Currently, AutoStitch Panorama costs USD $1.99 in itunes. More information can be found at the official website for AutoStitch. What I like about AutoStitch is the simple interface. It is so easy and simple to use but there are some functions which I think it can improve on. Currently, you have to shoot photos using the default iPhone’s camera and open the AutoStitch apps to combine the photos. I will have to use 2 apps to stitch 1 panoramic photo. I wish there is a camera option in the AutoStitch which will cut down the extra step. Some other panorama apps does have a “preview” mode where you can have a guideline on how much you can overlap. Overall, I think it is worth it to get AutoStitch if you are a fan of panorama photos.
1. “Guideline” for overlapping. (taken with my iPhone, sorry for the bad quality!)
How to use AutoStitch
The following sample photos are taken from the AutoStitch’s website by Cloudburst Research Inc.
First, you have to select the photos from the photo album. The photos that you selected will take some time to load in the apps. After loading all the photos, just click on the Stitch button.
2. Select photos to stitch
.
AutoStitch will analyse and create an “stitched” images as show below. You can choose to crop or the parts you want and then save the photo.
3. The final product. You can choose to crop or save.

There are a lot of photograhpy apps for iPhone in apple apps store. One of my favourite is the Autostitch. It helps to “stitch” photos together to become a “bigger” photo, giving a panorama or a wider angle photo. Besides using the Autostitch, some of the photography apps that I find useful are the Camerabag, PS mobile, Photogene, QuadCam and Polarize.

2. Spread of food
3. Sammi Cheng’s Concert
4. Serangoon

First post of the year, 2010! Happy new year to everyone! I didn’t manage to achieve my aim of shooting and developing 1 roll of film every month as I was busy during December. I need to buck up!!!
New year resolution of 2010:
1. 1 or 2 roll of films every month.
2. Posting of photos every month.
3. Get a new lens
Back to topic, I went to the Singapore zoo in December. It’s been sooo long since I visited the zoo. There are many new things. One of the new thing that I enjoyed was the boat ride. The boat ride went around the Mandai reservoir, from 1 end of the zoo to the other end. I find the ride a bit too short but still enjoy it. The scenery doesn’t feel like I am in Singapore. I felt peaceful and relax, unlike the fast pace feeling when you are in a city.
1. White tiger
2. Hippo (used to like hippo when I was young)
3. Lizard??
4. Group of baboons waiting to be fed
5. View from the boat ride (Tried some photoshop effect)
